SSC conducts recruitment drives for filling up posts in various government departments. The notification for the Combined Graduate Level examination is just published for which the minimum qualification is graduation in any discipline from a recognized university. You can opt for the preference of post and state, however once the preference is given the same can’t be changed on a later date. Thus you should be clear about your preference of post. Following are a few suggestions which you can follow for making the selection of post a bit easier:
1. Fix your goal and work towards achieving it: At first make it clear what you want to do in future. Once you fix your goal it will be relatively easier for you to decide on the post preference. Moreover, once you know about your goal and you should simultaneously look for options available to you.
2. Look for easier options: It will be smarter to opt for a post where the numbers of vacancies are high and competition is relatively low. Your chances will be brighter if you can have more number of vacancies and lesser candidates opting for the same.
3. Consider requirement of physical test. Moreover, you should also look for posts where there is a requirement of physical test. If you are strong and you believe that you can prove your physical strength, you can go for a post which requires physical test. If the case is reverse i.e. you are not physically strong, you should choose a post which doesn’t contain physical tests.
4. Prepare well: It is only hard work and dedication which can get you your dream job. Making the right choice about the preference is only the first step. However the preference may come live only when you make do the right preparation. You should make a schedule and allocate your time in preparation of various subjects. You can join any classes which may help you in getting the right study material and test papers
