According to NITI Aayog CEO BVR Subramaniam, a vision document aimed at making India a developed country is in its final stages and is expected to be drafted by December. NITI Aayog was tasked with consolidating ten sectoral thematic approaches including infrastructure, welfare, commerce and industry, technology and governance in July this year. India is on track to deploy its long-range air defense system operationally by 2028-29. India's first lavender farm is being built in Challa village of Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir. It is spread over two hectares of land owned by the Department of Agricultural Production and Farmers Welfare. The plantation of the first sample of lavender was witnessed at this farm on Sunday by District Development Council (DDC) member Rita Thakur, Chief Agriculture Officer, Kathua, Sanjeev Rai Gupta. Native to Europe, lavender was introduced by the Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine (IIIM) in the temperate regions of Jammu division under the CSIR-Aroma Mission in 2018, making Doda the birthplace of India's Purple Revolution.

Solution: India National Cyber Security Exercise (NCX) 2023 was hosted at SCOPE Convention Center in New Delhi. Solution: Recently the joint bilateral training exercise “Exercise Harimau Shakti 2023” between the Indian and Malaysian armies has officially started at Umroi Cantonment, India. The Malaysian contingent comprises soldiers from the 5th Royal Battalion of the Malaysian Army, while the Indian contingent is represented by a battalion of the Rajput Regiment. The previous edition of this exercise took place in Malaysia in 2022.

Solution: The United States has emerged as India's largest trading partner during April-September this financial year. The US was India's largest trading partner in 2022-23. Bilateral trade between India and the US declined by 11.3 percent to $59.67 billion during April-September 2023 from $67.28 billion in the same period last year. Similarly, two-way trade between India and China also declined by 3.56 percent to $58.11 billion.
