Dear Candidates,

Like every year, the UPSC has released application forms for the NDA & NA-II Exam 2020 for admission under various courses in the academies. Here are the more details below, read out this article -

UPSC NDA Exam 2020 - Recruitment Details

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released an official notification for the enrollment to the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy. This is an entrance exam to select the candidates for the new batch in both the academies. The total number of available seats is 413.

You should know that the UPSC NDA & NA- I Exam was first scheduled to be held on 19th April 2020 but was deferred due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Now, a Common Examination will be held for both NDA &NA Exam-I and II on 6th September 2020.

  • The interested and eligible candidates can apply through the websites- upsc.gov.in and upsconline.nic.in.
  • Candidates who earlier applied for the UPSC NDA & NA Exam-I and intend to apply for NDA & NA-II Exam ensure that the information, photograph, and other details must be the same in both the forms. 
  • Any variation in two applications may cause cancellation of candidature for either of the two examinations or both.

Eligibility Criteria:

Admission at all the stages of the examination will be purely based on the prescribed eligibility conditions. Mere issue of Admission Certificate to the candidate will not imply that his candidature has been finally cleared by the Commission.

Candidates must ensure that they fulfill all the required eligibility conditions as mentioned below-

Qualification: Candidates must have passed the Senior Secondary Exam (12th) in Mathematics.

Age: Candidates should be at least 18-Years old to apply for the entrance exam.

Selection Process:

The admission for these courses will be based upon the performance in the-

  • Written Examination
  • Personal Interview

How to Apply?

Candidates are required to apply online by using the website https://upsconline.nic.in/ Brief instructions for filling up the online Application Form have been given on the website.  The Commission has introduced the facility of withdrawal of application for those candidates who do not want to appear for the Examination.

Application Fee -

Applications submitted without the prescribed fee/mode shall be summarily rejected.

UPSC NDA Exam 2020 Admit Card

The eligible candidates will be able to download their e-Admit Cards three weeks before the commencement of the examination, available on the UPSC website (upsconline.nic.in). You should know that no admit card will be sent by postal or courier service.
