1. The first assembly elections in Rajasthan were held in the year 1952. The tenure of the assembly formed during this period lasted till 1952.

2. The number of members in the first assembly was 160. When Ajmer merged with Rajasthan state in the year 1956, the number of members was increased to 190.

3. The number of members in the second assembly (1957-62) was. Whereas in the fourth assembly (1967-72) there were 184 members.

4. From the sixth (1977-80) Legislative Assembly, the number of members increased to 200.

1. Colonel James Tod had said that if he was offered a jagir in Rajasthan, he would choose the fort of Bhainsrodgarh. Bhainsrodgarh Fort is located in Chittorgarh district of Rajasthan. It is an ancient and historical fort known for its beauty and natural beauty.

2. Todd was a British historian and diplomat who wrote several books on the history and culture of Rajasthan. He called Bhainsrodgarh fort "Paradise of Rajasthan". He said the citadel is "a unique place for its beauty, natural beauty and historical importance."

1. In Rajasthani language, "Palan" means "saddle placed on a camel". It is made of wood or metal, and has a seat for riding on the back of a camel. The palan usually consists of a back, a mattress, and a halter. Palan camels are used for riding, carrying goods, or both.

3. The bundle of grass loaded on a camel is called hay.

4. Palan is tied on the back of the camel for carrying it.

5. To enhance the beauty of the camel, a cow's neck is worn.

The Institute of Tropical Medicine and Virology has been established in Jaipur for investigation, treatment and research of viral diseases.

 1. Mangarh Hill situated on the Gujarat-Rajasthan border is also known by the tribal name Jallianwala.

2. On November 17, 1913, a tragedy occurred in Mangadh (Banswara, Rajasthan) in which more than 1,500 Bhil tribals were killed.

3. Guru was a great leader among the Bhil and Garasia tribal communities, a man who united thousands of tribals on his own. The immediate Mangadh covered the border areas of present-day Udaipur, Dungarpur and Banswara of Rajasthan, Idar of Gujarat and Malwa of Madhya Pradesh.
