Hairlike structures called cilia line the mucous membrane and move the particles trapped in the mucus out of the nose. Inhaled air is moistened, warmed, and cleansed by the tissue that lines the nasal cavity.

1. Red loam soil has been characterized as loose, permeable and lacking compaction components.

2. These soils are deficient in organic matter, phosphate and nitrogen.

3. Potash is present in sufficient quantity in some soils.

4. Because they are not very fertile, red sandy loam soils are poor for farming.

5. Red loamy soil can be found in the southern region of the state, in Dungarpur and Banswara districts, as well as at some places in Udaipur and Chittorgarh.

6. Some crops suitable for red soil are cotton, wheat, rice, pulses, millets, tobacco, oilseeds, potatoes and fruits.
