It is worth noting that Congress candidate from Indore Akshay Kanti Bam withdrew his nomination on the last day of withdrawal of nomination and joined BJP. This is a new record of the highest number of votes (2,18,674) received by NOTA. BJP's Shankar Lalwani registered the biggest victory on this seat.
