The artistic splendour of Rajourgarh belongs to the Gurjara-Pratihara era. Rajourgarh is a village located in Alwar district of Rajasthan. The Neelkantheshwar Shiva temple, the Rajor inscription, and other monuments located here clearly indicate that this place was an important religious and cultural centre during the Gurjara-Pratihara period.

Master Pyarelal Gupta is called the “Gandhi of Chirawa”. He was a resident of Chirawa town of Jhunjhunu district of Rajasthan. He was a freedom fighter, social reformer and educationist. He established Amar Seva Samiti in Chirawa and opened a school. He remained engaged in propagating the ideas and ideals of Gandhiji.
