1. Sawai Ram Singh II of Jaipur patronized Blue Pottery.

2. Blue pottery is widely recognized as a traditional craft of Jaipur.

3. It is originally from Turko-Persian.

4. This art came to Lahore from Persia during the reign of Akbar.

5. After this Ram Singh I brought it from Lahore to Jaipur. However, the greatest development of this art took place during the reign of Ram Sawai Singh II.

6. He sent Churaman and Kaluram potters to Delhi to learn this art.

 1. Mangarh Hill situated on the Gujarat-Rajasthan border is also known by the tribal name Jallianwala.

2. On November 17, 1913, a tragedy occurred in Mangadh (Banswara, Rajasthan) in which more than 1,500 Bhil tribals were killed.

3. Guru was a great leader among the Bhil and Garasia tribal communities, a man who united thousands of tribals on his own. The immediate Mangadh covered the border areas of present-day Udaipur, Dungarpur and Banswara of Rajasthan, Idar of Gujarat and Malwa of Madhya Pradesh.
