As of my last knowledge update in January 2022, Shyama Prasad Mukherjee has not been awarded the Bharat Ratna. Please note that new awards or recognitions may have been conferred since then, so it's advisable to check the latest sources for the most up-to-date information.

The first recipients of the Bharat Ratna were: the former Governor-General of the Union of India C. Rajagopalachari, the former President of the Republic of India Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan; and the Indian physicist C. V. Raman, who were honoured in 1954.

(B) West Meets East

Pandit Ravi Shankar won the Grammy Award in 1967 for the album "West Meets East," which he recorded with American violinist Yehudi Menuhin.

Tankeswar Hazarika Borbayan received the 2018 Sangeet Natak Akademi Award for his contribution to Sattriya dance. The award was presented by the Vice President of India, Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu, on April 9, 2022
