1. Girwa: Due to the presence of hills all around Udaipur, the shape of Udaipur is like a saucer-like basin, which is called Girwa in the local language.

2. Desharo: The area between Jarga (Udaipur) and Raga (Sirohi) hills in Udaipur is called Desharo because it is always green.

3. Dewal/Mewal: Part between Dungarpur and Banswara.

4. Bhainsrodgarh Fort: Bhainsrodgarh Fort or Bhainsrod Fort is an ancient fort which is known as a major tourist destination in the state of Rajasthan, India.

In a significant achievement in the efforts to boost the country's nuclear energy programme, a large deposit of uranium has been discovered in Rohil in Rajasthan's Sikar district. Officials said there are reserves of about 5,185 tonnes of uranium ore in the central part of Rohil but it is of low grade.

1. Although Rajasthan is not rich in this mineral, the deposits available are of high quality (hematite and magnetite).

2. Most of the ore found in the form of hematite is found in small deposits which were mined uneconomically.

3. Some magnetites are also found at various places.

4. Iron ore in the state is found in the north-eastern and south-eastern parts of the state.
