1. Pabuji was born in 1239 AD in Kolu (present-day Barmer, Rajasthan). His father's name was Dhandhalji Rathore. Dhandhalji Rathore had four children, out of which he had two sons and two daughters. His sons' names were Pabuji and Bura and his daughters' names were Sona and Pema.

2. According to historian Muhannaut Nainasi, great poet Modji Ashiya and regional people, Pabuji Rathod was born from the womb of an Apsara. According to him, Pabuji's birthplace was a village named Juna in Khari Khabar, 8 miles ahead of the present Barmer city.

3. Pabuji's place of worship is in Kolu (Phalodi). Their fair is also held here in Kolu every year. Because he got up in the middle of his marriage and went to save the cows, he is shown in the groom's clothes. His symbol is popular in the form of a horse rider with a spear in his hand.

4. The villagers consider Pabuji to be the incarnation of Lakshman ji and worship him as a folk deity. People also worship Pabuji as the god of camels.

Khadin-It is a temporary pond made of earth, it is built under some sloping land. There is an earthen wall (Dhora) on both sides and a strong wall made of stone on the third side. When there is excess water, the pond gets filled and the water flows into the next pond. After the water in Khadin dries up, agriculture is done in it.

Swaangiya Mata: If we look at the origin of the folk goddesses and clan goddesses who are symbols of faith in the people of Rajasthan, we will find that many famous goddesses, symbols of power, were born in Charankul. Among the famous goddesses born in Charankul, Awad, Swangiyan, Karni Mata etc. are prominent. Along with the stories of glory of different dynasties, many miraculous incidents of these goddesses are recorded on the pages of history.
