When hypothesis are confirmed by varied tests then it becomes theory. A theory is always backed by evidence; a hypothesis is only a suggested possible outcome, and is testable and falsifiable.

As per the Census of India 2011, Haryana had the lowest sex ratio among all the Indian states. The sex ratio is defined as the number of females per 1,000 males. Haryana's sex ratio was reported to be lower than the national average at that time. Efforts have been made to address gender imbalances and improve the sex ratio in various regions of the country through awareness campaigns and policy measures.
