The Ghori dynasty or Ghori Silsila, who called themselves the Shansabani dynasty, was a medieval dynasty that ruled Iran, Afghanistan, northwestern India (up to Delhi), Khorasan, and parts of the Xinjiang region of modern western China during the period 1148–1215 AD.
