1. Zafar Khan was the commander of Alauddin Khilji, the ruler of Delhi Sultanate.

2. Zafar Khan also took part in several other campaigns during the reign of Alauddin Khilji, including the invasion of Ranthambore in 1303, the invasion of Devagiri in 1304 and the invasion of Chedi in 1311. He was successful in all these campaigns and helped expand the territory and power of the Delhi Sultanate.

2. After the defeat of Siraj-ud-Daula in the Battle of Plassey (23 June 1757), the British made Mir Jafar the Nawab of Bengal.
