1. Karni Mata is the family deity of Charan and Rathore of Bikaner.

He is also said to be the incarnation of Jogamaya, the goddess of rats and world mother.

2. Her temple is in Deshnoke Bikaner, the foundation of which was laid by Karni Mata herself. The original temple of Karni Mata was built by Raja Jai Singh.

3. The present grand form of this temple was given by Maharaja Surat Singh.

4. Mostly rats are found in this temple, hence the temple is also called the temple of rats.

1. In Rajasthani language, "Palan" means "saddle placed on a camel". It is made of wood or metal, and has a seat for riding on the back of a camel. The palan usually consists of a back, a mattress, and a halter. Palan camels are used for riding, carrying goods, or both.

3. The bundle of grass loaded on a camel is called hay.

4. Palan is tied on the back of the camel for carrying it.

5. To enhance the beauty of the camel, a cow's neck is worn.

6. In Marwari, the sitting of a camel is called (Jhaikna).

The first scientific division of the Rajput painting style was done by Anand Kumar Swami. He wrote a book named 'Rajput Painting' in 1916.

1. Bhapang is a rare single-stringed musical instrument affectionately known as the 'talking drum'.

2. It originates from the Mewati community in Alwar district. It is known as Chongar in Maharashtra, Apang in Gujarat and Tumba in Punjab.

3. Zahoor Khan Mewati was a famous artist who played Bhapang.
