1. Petroleum-producing areas in Rajasthan are spread over 14 districts.

2. Rajasthan has significant resource potential of hydrocarbons under 4 petroliferous basins.

3. Potentially due to hydrocarbons, 3 petroliferous basins of Rajasthan have been upgraded to Category-I i.e. Bombay High, Assam and Gujarat.

The total number of notified commercial banks of all types in the state increased to 7685 in December 2020 from 7143 in December 2017.

The country's first 'Indian Medical Device Park' will be developed in the state of Rajasthan.

1. Handicrafts have been flourishing in various areas in Rajasthan since ancient times.

2. At present, the most important center of handicrafts in Rajasthan is Jodhpur.

3. EPIP (Export Promotion Park) for handicraft products has been established at Boranada (Jodhpur).

4. Due to the enthusiasm of the people of Rajasthan, variety of costumes, folk entertainment and artistic talent, various artist castes arrived here and they remained here only.

5. Making useful and artistic items from local materials and skills is called 'handicraft'. These qualities have been prevalent traditionally in the artisan castes of rural areas of the state.

6. At present, a significant part of Rajasthan's exports come from handicrafts. This is the basis of employment for the artistic castes of the state.

7. For the marketing and promotion of handicraft items produced in Rajasthan, a showroom named Rajsthali has been started by Rajsico in March 2008 in Jaipur.
