1. The first biological park of Rajasthan is 'Sajjangarh Biological Park' located in Udaipur district, which was inaugurated on 12 April 2015 by the then Environment Minister Prakash Javedkar.

2. It is situated at the foothills of Sajjangarh Monsoon Palace, 8 kilometres away from Udaipur city. Mainly tigers, panthers, lions, reptiles, nilgai, sambar, wild boar and honeys are found in this park.

The cluster variety 'Mahi Kanchan' developed by the Agricultural Research Center, Banswara is related to maize crops.

2. Mahi Kanchan, Mahi Dhawal and Megha are varieties of maize. The major maize-producing districts in Rajasthan are Bhilwara, Chittorgarh, Udaipur, Banswara and Bundi.

1. Although Rajasthan is not rich in this mineral, the deposits available are of high quality (hematite and magnetite).

2. Most of the ore found in the form of hematite is found in small deposits which were mined uneconomically.

3. Some magnetites are also found at various places.

4. Iron ore in the state is found in the north-eastern and south-eastern parts of the state.

Tanka is an underground reservoir built to store rain water. The tanka usually has a square or rectangular shape and is constructed from clay or stone. A wall is built around the tanka so that rain water can collect in it.
