BPSC 66th Combined (Preliminary) Competitive Examination 2020

Online applications have been invited from qualified Indian citizens for BPSC Joint (preliminary) Competitive Examination to fill up 731 vacancies of various posts such as Superintendent of Police, Jail Superintendent, State Tax Assistant Commissioner, Additional Election Officer, Planning Committee, Bihar Probation Service Officer, Additional District Transport Officer, Food Supply Inspector, Labor Enforcement Officer, Revenue Officer, Block Panchayati Raj Officer and Other alike.

• Selected candidates will be provided level-7 and level-9 salary according to the department/ post.

Note-The number of vacant posts in the above-mentioned services/ cadres can be increased if received/ amended from the department.

Required Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification -

It is mandatory for the candidate to graduate in any discipline from a recognized university/institute or pass in the equivalent examination.

Age Limit -

Application Fee:

The application fees for the Prelims Exam is as follows according to the categories:

• For General/ OBC/ Other State candidates: Rs. 600/-
• For SC/ ST/ PH candidates: Rs. 150/-
• For women candidates (Bihar domicile): Rs. 150/-

In addition to the above examination fee, the candidate will also have to pay the charge prescribed by various banks, which will be automatically taken as bank charge by the bank at the time of online payment.

Preliminary Exam Pattern:

• The 66th Combined Preliminary (Written) Competitive Examination will be for General Studies.
• All the questions in the exam will be objective type multiple choice.
• The duration of the examination will be 2 hours and the total marks will be 150.

• Visit the official website of BPSC www.bpsc.bih.nic.in.
• Click on the link "BPSC Combined Preliminary Exam 2020".
• Click "Online Registration" to fill the online application form.
• A new window will open, where the page clicks "Apply Online" (for first time registration or new registration).
• Fill the application form as per the guidelines.
• Candidates need to fill all the required information in the "First Screen" tab. And click "SUBMIT" to move to the next screen.
• Upload the photo, signature and pay the application fee.
• Take a print out of the online application for future use.
