Since the IBPS PO will be conducted in different shifts, the marks of candidates in all such shifts will be normalized in order to adjust for the various difficulty levels in such shifts. Then the cut-off marks for each section and also the entire examination will be decided by the IBPS. 

How to check the cut off marks?

So, the next question is when will you get to know the cut-off marks? Will you know it as soon as the exam is over or you get to know it once the results are out? Well, the cut-off marks are generally declared once the results are out. You can check the cut-off from your results page itself or the same may also be declared in the form of write-up separately on the website of IBPS i.e. www.ibps.in

In order to check the IBPS PO cutoff marks, the following steps should be followed:

  • Go to the IBPS website www.ibps.in 
  • Check the link for CRP PO/MT VIII on the left-hand side of the page (After you click the CRP PO /MT Link on the home page)
  • You can see the detailed information regarding the CRP PO/MT VIII recruitment exercise such as the advertisement, result status etc. if the cut off is declared separately, you will find the write up on that page itself and if it is declared with individual results, you can find it on your results page once login with your registration number/roll number and date of birth/ password. 

The cut-off marks are the minimum marks that you have to secure in this examination so that you can get selected in the examination. Based on this only, the provisional allotment is done by IBPS after the interview and also the reserve list is also decided based on minimum cut-off marks that you need to secure in the final merit list.
