Odisha High Court has invited online applications by issuing notifications for the recruitment of 202 vacant posts of Assistant Section Officer (Group-B) for graduate pass youth.

• Recruitment of applicants will be conducted as per the provisions of "High Court of Odisha (Appointment and Conditions of Service of Employees) Rules, 2019".

ASO Recruitment Details and Eligibility Criteria

Age Relaxation:

• In case of SC, ST, SEBC and women, upper age is relaxable up to 5 years and for PWD up to 10 years.
• Disabled persons belonging to SC / ST / SEBC categories are eligible for 15 years of age, ie 10 years under PWD category and 5 years under SC / ST / SEBC category.
• Relaxation of Ex-servicemen and age relaxation for the benefit of reservation will be as per the government rules prescribed for this purpose.

Selection Process:

Candidates will be selected on the following basis -

1. Preliminary test
2. Written exam
3. Computer application test
4. Viva-voice test

Written Exam Pattern -

Note –

• All the questions in the preliminary examination will be objective type.
• There shall be Negative Marking of 0.5 (half) mark for each wrong answer. 
• The Court shall call for the candidates for Written Examination, who have secured not less than 33% of marks in case of Scheduled Caste & Scheduled Tribe candidates and 40% of marks in case of others in the Preliminary Examination.
