PPSC Recruitment 2021 - Notification Out for 320 Inspector Posts!!

Hello Candidates,

Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) has invited online applications on vacant posts of the inspector from qualified male-female candidates. A total of 320 vacancies is available under Cooperative Societies in the Department of Cooperation, Government of Punjab in PPSC Inspector Recruitment 2021. According to the Punjab Civil Services (Reservation of posts for women) Rules 2020 issued by the Department of Social Security and Women & Child Development, women candidates have got 33% reservation in PPSC recruitment.

Punjab Inspector Recruitment 2021: 320 Vacancy

Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) has been established under Article 315 of the Constitution of India, with the basic purpose of recruitment of officers in various departments. However, Punjab PSC conducts recruitment to thousands of posts every year.

• Selected candidates can be posted/deployed anywhere in Punjab or India.
• The number of posts may be increased or decreased by the Government before the selection process is complete without giving any prior notice to the candidates.

Eligibility Criteria for Punjab PSC Recruitment 2021

The eligibility criteria for Punjab Inspector are as follows:

Academic Qualification -

• Should possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in any stream with a minimum of 60% marks from a recognized university or institution.
• Should have passed Matriculation examination with Punjabi as one of the compulsory or elective subjects or any other equivalent examination in the Punjabi language.

Age Limit (01-01-2021) -

Minimum Age – 18 years

Maximum Age – 37 years

Selection Process:

1. The candidate will be selected only based on a written exam (pen and paper-based test).
2. No interview shall be conducted for selection to Inspector posts.

Written Exam Pattern -

The important points to note:

I. The examination is a pen & paper-based test and the test will be of two hours duration.

II. Each question carries 4 marks and for each correct answer, the candidate will get 4 marks.

III. There will be Negative Marking (one mark for each question) in the written examination for questions wrongly answered i.e., for each incorrect answer, 1 (One) mark will be deducted from the total score.

IV. To answer a question, the candidate has to find, for each question, the correct answer/ best option

V. Answer key will be uploaded on the PPSC website (after written examination), and the candidates will be permitted to raise objections (if any).
