As you all know that after every 2-3 years, the Rajasthan Subordinate & Ministerial Services Selection Board (RSMSSB) releases hundreds of vacancies to recruit eligible and talented young candidates for the posts of Lower Division Clerk (LDC). 

In order to get selected on these posts, candidates need to face a tough competition as lakhs of candidates submit applications in this recruitment process. However, if you work hard with an efficient strategy and knowledge of the exam-pattern, you’ll definitely win.

Rajasthan LDC Exam Pattern

The candidates will be selected on the basis of the following phases -

  • Phase-1 Written Exam (Paper-1 & Paper-2)
  • Phase-2 (Typing Test in Hindi and English)

Important Points

  • Phase-1 will consist of two papers. Paper-1 will assess the aptitude and general awareness of the candidate while paper-2 will be a language assessment test.
  • Phase-2 is a typing test to assess the typing skills and speed of the selected candidate.

The syllabus of the LDC exam is of the 12th standard. Candidates need to focus upon their weak subjects and try to cover each and every topic, as given below -

  • Factors, Multiplication Factors, Equations

General Knowledge
  • Current Affairs: Current Affairs Regarding the Major Incidents that have Occurred in the National and Regional Organizations. 
  • Geography & Natural Resources: Population and Tribes, Physical Conditions of the State of Rajasthan, Climate, Vegetation and Soil, Natural Resources of Rajasthan – Minerals, Water, Animals & Wildlife, Forests, and protection. 
  • Agriculture and Economic Development in Rajasthan: Handicraft industry, Major crops, major irrigation projects, economic programs, schemes, and development institutions.
  • History and culture of Rajasthan: Independence Movement, Folk music and folk dance, Political restructuring, Political Development, Medieval history, Fairs & festivals, Public languages, and literature.
  • Industrial development of Rajasthan: Availability of raw materials, small and cottage industries, Major industries, and industrial Area, Different sources of energy, Mineral based big, small and cottage industries.
