RPSC Senior Teacher Recruitment 2022: Apply Online for Grade-II Posts

Hello Candidates,

The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has released an official notification for recruitment to the posts of Senior Teacher (Grade-II) in the Secondary Education Department. A total of 9760 vacancies are to be filled for Senior Teachers in various subjects like English, Hindi, Maths, Science, Sanskrit, Social Science, Punjabi, Urdu.

The willing and eligible candidates can apply online for the posts through the RPSC official website at rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in from 11 April 2022 onwards. The last date to submit the online application form is 10 May 2022.

The post for Senior Teacher is temporary and the total number of posts received from the department may increase or decrease. Candidates will be selected through a competitive examination. The venue and date of the examination will be informed in due course.

Vacancy Details & Eligibility Criteria

Applicants are required to ensure their eligibility before applying as per the prescribed eligibility criteria-

Age limit (as on 01 January 2023) -

• Minimum Age - 18 years
• Maximum Age - 40 years

Age Relaxation:

• Male Candidates belonging to the SC, ST, OBC and More BC, and EWS of Rajasthan State: 5 Years
• Women Candidates belonging to the SC, ST, OBC and More BC, and EWS of Rajasthan State: 10 Years
• Women Candidates belonging to General Category: 5 Years
• There is no upper age limit for widowed and divorced women.

Scheme and Syllabus of Competitive Exam for Senior Teacher

The Examination shall carry 500 marks. There will be two papers. Paper-I shall be 200 marks and Paper-II shall be 300 marks.

PAPER–I

• Negative marking shall be applicable in the evaluation of the answer. For every wrong answer, one-third of the marks prescribed for that particular question shall be deducted.
• Explanation: Wrong answer shall mean an incorrect answer or multiple answers.  
• The minimum qualifying marks for each paper shall be 40%. Provided that the percentage fixed as above shall be relaxed by 5% for the candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes

PAPER-II

Syllabus and Scope of Papers:- The syllabus and scope of paper for the examination will be as prescribed by the Commission/Rajasthan Staff Selection Board/Appointing Authority as the case may be, from time to time and will be intimated to the within the stipulated time in the manner as the Commission/Rajasthan Staff Selection Board/Appointing Authority, as the case may be, deems fit.

How to Apply?

• Visit the official website of RPSC, rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in.
• Click on the link to apply online or log in through the website https://sso.rajasthan.gov.in.
• Click on the registration OTR once on the recruitment portal and fill out the online application.
• After filling the online application, the candidate has to pay the application fee to create the application ID.
• If a candidate does not receive the application ID after submitting the online application, it means that the candidate has to fill out the application again if the application form is not filled.
• After submitting the application to all the candidates, take a printout of the online application.
