SSC CHSL Eligibility Criteria
Here are important eligibility criteria that a candidate must fulfil in order to be eligible for the SSC CHSL 2023 exam. The parameters are given below:
Minimum Qualification -
- For LDC/ JSA, PA/ SA, DEO (except DEOs in C&AG): 12th Pass or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.
- For Data Entry Operator Grade 'A' in the Office of Comptroller and Auditor General of India (C&AG): 12th Standard pass in Science stream with Mathematics from a recognized Board or equivalent.
Age limit (as on 01-08-2023) -
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 27 Years
Age Relaxation -
Indian government allows some age relaxation for the reserved categories-
- For ST/SC Candidates: 5 years.
- For OBC Candidates: 3 Years.
- For Ex-Serviceman Candidates: 3 years.
- PWD Candidates: General-10 Years/OBC-13 Years/SC & ST- 15 years

Selection Process:
As per the SSC CHSL New Exam Pattern 2023, there will be two different phases, which a candidate need to clear to select in SSC CHSL posts.
1. SSC CHSL Tier 1 Exam is an Objective Multiple Choice Question paper.
2. SSC CHSL Tier 2 exam includes three sections (Objective Multiple Choice + Skill Test & Typing Test) having two modules each.
