NEW IBPS Clerk Notification 2023

Dear Candidates,

A big news for you that Institute of Banking Personnel Selection is going to invite online applications for the recruitment of clerical posts in 11 public sector banks all over the country like every year. For which IBPS Board has released the IBPS Clerk 2023 short notification on its official website. IBPS Clerk 2023 online registration will start on 01st July 2023 and the last date to apply online is 21st July 2023.

A short IBPS Clerk Notification 2023 for CRP Clerk-XIII has been released by IBPS on 27th June 2023 through the employment newspaper and the detailed IBPS Clerk Notification pdf will be released by 30th June 2023.

  • Like every previous IBPS Clerk exam pattern, this year also the online examination will be held in two phases , Online Preliminary and Online Main Examination. Candidates who will qualify in Online Preliminary Exam will be shortlisted for Online Main Exam.

IBPS Clerk Eligibility:

The following are the criteria as per the latest IBPS Clerk Notification 2023. The candidates are qualified to apply for IBPS Clerk Exam 2023 if he/she fulfills the below-mentioned academic and age limit.

Qualification -

Graduate degree in any discipline from an institute recognized by the Government of India.

Age Limit -

  • Minimum Age Limit: 20 Years
  • Maximum Age Limit: 28 Years

Age Relaxation -

  • Age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST category.
  • Age relaxation of 3 years for OBC category.
  • Age relaxation of 10 years for Persons With Disabilities .
  • Age relaxation of 5 years for Ex-Servicemen category.
  • Relaxation of 5 years for persons affected by 1984 riots.

Selection Process:

The Common Recruitment Process will be completed in two phases, i.e.

  1. Online Preliminary Exam
  2. Online Mains Exam

The structure of the exam is as follows -

Preliminary Examination -

Candidates have to qualify in each of the three tests by securing cut-off marks to be decided by IBPS. Adequate number of candidates in each category as decided by IBPS depending upon requirements will be shortlisted for Online Main examination

  • The above tests will be available bilingual, i.e., English and Hindi, except for the English Language tests.
  • Every candidate will be required to obtain minimum marks in each test of Online Main Examination.
  • Based on the number of vacancies available, the cut-off will be decided and candidates will be shortlisted for interview.
  • Before the completion of the interview process, the marks obtained in the Online Main Examination will not be shared with the candidates shortlisted for the interview.

Q. What is the IBPS Clerk Prelims 2023 Exam date?

Ans. IBPS Clerk Prelims Exam will be held on August 26, 27, and September 2, 2023.

Q. Can final year students appear for the exam?

Ans. Yes, final year students can appear for the Exam. But they will have to produce the mark sheet on the date of document verification.
