The Staff Selection Commission is conducting an Open Competitive Examination for recruitment of Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces. Online applications have been invited for around 4300 vacancies by SSC.
Out of the total, 228 vacancies are for 340 vacancies are for Sub-Inspector (Exe.) in Delhi Police and 3960 are for Sub-Inspector (GD) in CAPF.

SSC CPO Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the vacancies, candidates must ensure that they fulfill all the required eligibility conditions, as given below-
Age Limit -
- Minimum Age: 20 Years
- Maximum Age: 25 Years
Candidates from the reserved categories will be provided with age relaxation as per the prescribed government norms.
Qualification -
- Candidates should possess Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or equivalent.
SSC CPO Salary -
- Sub-Inspector (GD) in CAPFs: - Level-6 (Rs.35400-112400/-)
- Sub Inspector (Executive) - (Male/ Female) in Delhi Police - Leve-6 (Rs.35400-112400/-)
Selection Procedure:
The selection will be done in 5 stages:
- Paper-I Online Exam
- Physical Standard Test (PST)/ Physical Endurance Test (PET)
- Paper-II Descriptive Type Test
- Detailed Medical Examination (DME).
- Document Verification
All these stages of the exam are mandatory for Delhi Police SI Recruitment 2022.
Paper-I & Paper-II Exam Pattern -
- Questions in both papers will be of Objective Multiple-Choice Type, each question will carry one mark.
- Questions will be set in Hindi and English.
- There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in Paper-I & Paper-II.
