The Department of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation of the Ministry of Jal Shakti is organizing an International Conference on Dam Safety in Jaipur. The conference was inaugurated under the theme “Safe & Secure Dams Ensure Nation’s Prosperity”. Hosting over 6,000 dams in India, the event focuses on enhancing dam safety, discussing cutting-edge topics and highlighting Dam Rehabilitation and Improvement Project (DRIP) Phase II and III.

During the recent G20 Summit in Delhi, world leaders were presented a selection of handmade gifts representing India's diverse cultural heritage. These gifts included: the famous perfume of Kannauj, Kashmiri saffron, Araku coffee from Andhra Pradesh and Nilgiri tea, all packed in a chest decorated with brass decorations. The gifts also included Sundarban honey, Zighrana ittar from Kannauj, pashmina shawls from Changthangi goats, khadi scarves symbolizing India's freedom struggle and commemorative coins and stamps.
