SSC CHSL Exam Pattern 2018 for tier 1, tier 2 & tier 3 - Updated!

SSC CHSL exam is higher secondary level exam. You should need to know about SSC CHSL Syllabus and SSC CHSL Exam Pattern. SSC CHSL exam pattern has divided into three tiers such as tier 1 (Objective), tier 2 (Subjective) and tier 3(skill test/typing test). 

SSC CHSL tier 1 is computer-based exam. SSC CHSL tier 2 exam conduct in pan & paper mode. SSC CHSL tier 3 is skill test. 

The final merit of the successful candidates would be determined on the basis of total score obtained by them in Tier-I and Tier-II.

SSC CHSL tier 1 exam pattern:

SSC CHSL tier 1 has four subjects General Intelligence, General awareness, Quantitative aptitude, English comprehension. Tier 1 is computer-based examination.

Every subject has 25 questions, and every Question carries 2 marks. It is compulsory to pass each part in SSC CHSL Tier-1. 

General Intelligence, General awareness and Quantitative papers are in both languages Hindi and English. You can choose your paper language which you have chosen while filling the online application form

The question in SSC CHSL Tier-1 is objective and there are four options for each question according to SSC CHSL Tier 1 exam pattern. Candidate chooses the correct answer out of the given four options. 

You have maximum 1 hours’ time to solve this paper. The candidates who are visually handicapped (VH) or suffering from Cerebral Palsy they can solve to question paper in 1 hours and 20 minutes.

Negative Marking in tier 1 exam:  There is negative marking of 0.5 marks for each wrong answer in the SSC CGL Tier-1 exam.


SSC CHSL tier 2 exam pattern:

SSC CHSL Tier-2 exam conduct Pen and Paper mode. It is descriptive type paper.

SSC CHSL Tier -2 exam conducts in both languages Hindi and English. You can choose your paper language which you chosen while filling application form.

SSC CHSL Tier-2 include two questions. Every question carries 50 marks and total marks allotted 100.The minimum qualifying marks are 33 percent of total marks. 

You have maximum 1 hours’ time to solve this paper. The candidates who are visually handicapped (VH) or suffering from Cerebral Palsy they can solve to question paper in 1 hours and 20 minutes.

SSC CHSL tier 3 exam pattern:

SSC CHSL tier 3 are known as skill test and typing test. The skill test and typing tests are of qualifying nature. 

SSC CHSL tier III Skill test:

 A printed matter in English containing is given to you by examiner. In this matter, 2000-2000 key storks are already printed. 

The candidates have to type this printed paper as it is with average speed of 8000 key type per hour on the computer. 

The ‘Speed of 8000 key type per hour on Computer’ will be calculated on the basis of the correct entry of words/ key depressions.

You have maximum 15 minutes time to type the printed matter.


Post of Data Entry Operator in the Office:  Comptroller and Auditor General of India (C&AG):

For these post, candidates have to type this printed paper as it is with average speed of 15000 key type per hour on the computer. Printed mater will be 3700-4000 key storks. 

The ‘Speed of 15000 key type per hour on Computer’ will be calculated on the basis of the correct entry of words/ key depressions.

You have maximum 15 minutes time to type the printed matter.

VH/ OH (afflicted by Cerebral Palsy) and OH with deformity in writing hand (with 40% disability and above) will be allowed 35 minutes including compensatory time 20 minutes for the Skill Test.


SSC CHSL tier III Typing test:

The candidates who apply for LDC, Postal assistant and court clerk they are participate typing test. Typing test is conducted in both languages Hindi/ English. You can choose your language according to application form. 

The typing speed is required in English 35 word per minute and Hindi 30 word per minute. A printed matter is given to you by examiner. 

The candidates have to type in English with average speed of 10500 key type per hour on the computer. 

The candidates have to type in Hindi with average speed of 9000 key type per hour on the computer.

The ‘Speed key type per hour on Computer’ will be calculated on the basis of the correct entry of words/ key depressions.

You have maximum 10 minutes time to type the mater.

VH/ OH (afflicted by Cerebral Palsy) and OH with deformity in writing hand (with 40% disability and above) will be allowed 30 minutes including compensatory time 20 minutes.


Conclusion

Without SSC CHSL exam pattern you cannot get the good score in the examination. Exam pattern is hteway of developing confidence.
